Product Description FAQ How to Use

These cat nail clippers are surprisingly easy to use. They offer a clean and precise cut with very little pressure, plus the safety guard eases fears of cutting the quick so it's safer for your pet.

There is even a nail file included in the left handle to smooth out those edges!

Q: Does this work on both dogs and cats?
A: Yes, you can use it on both dogs and cats.

Q: Dost this work with both large and small breeds?
A: Yes, customers report success on cutting the nails of pets of all sizes.

Q: Is there a nail file? Where is it located?
A: Yes! It is located in the handle of the clippers.

    Q: Can a left-hander use these clippers?
    A: Yes, definitely.

Q: Can you use these on puppies?
A: Yes, all breeds, sizes, and age of dogs and cats.

Q: How will I know when it's time to trim my pet's nails?
A: A dog’s nails should be trimmed when they just about touch the ground when he or she walks. If your pet’s nails are clicking or getting snagged on the floor, it’s time for a trim!

We recommend to accustom your pet to having his or her nails clipped slowly - this is especially important with puppies and cats of a young age. It’s ok to just do one nail at a time while you (and your pet) get used to the process.

For best results, trim after bathing your pet - nails will be softer and easier to cut. Hold your pet’s toe firmly and gently. Hold the Nail Clippers so that you’re cutting the nail from top to bottom at a slight angle. Insert a small length of nail through the trimmer’s opening to cut off the tip of each nail. Don’t trim at a blunt angle as to maintain the existing curvature of the nail.

Be careful not to cut too short - if you cut into the “quick” your pet will bleed (just like with human nails). This is the pink area in the nail where the nerves and blood vessels are.

Don’t forget to reward with a treat!
